Host Standards & Agreement

Thank you for hosting on MySportify. These Host Standards outline your responsibilities and our expectations to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all users. By creating an event, you agree to the following.

1. Listing Accuracy

Your event listings must be accurate, complete, and not misleading, including: event title, description, sport type, teams, date/time, location, pricing, capacity, amenities, house rules, and photos. Listings that are materially inaccurate may be removed.

2. Safety and Environment

• Ensure the viewing area is clean, accessible, and suitable for the number of Guests
• Maintain functional TV/viewing equipment
• Provide adequate seating for all confirmed Guests
• Ensure the property is free from hazards
• Comply with fire codes and occupancy limits

3. Non-Discrimination

Hosts must welcome all Guests regardless of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, or age. Discriminatory behavior will result in immediate removal from the Platform.

4. Booking Management

Response Time: Respond to booking requests within 48 hours. Unactioned requests are automatically cancelled.

Honoring Bookings: Once approved, you are expected to honor it. Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension.

Check-In: Use the MySportify check-in system (QR code or check-in code) to verify Guests upon arrival.

5. Communication

• Respond to Guest messages in a timely manner
• Provide clear directions and instructions before the event
• Notify Guests promptly of any changes
• Keep all communication on the MySportify Platform

6. Financial Terms

Pricing: You set the price per seat. MySportify charges Guests a 15% service fee on top of your ticket price.

Payouts: You receive the full ticket price via your connected Stripe account. Stripe processing fees are absorbed by the Guest.

Refunds: You handle refund requests through your Stripe dashboard. MySportify's service fee is never refunded.

7. Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for:

• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Obtaining any required permits, licenses, or permissions
• Complying with HOA rules, lease agreements, or property owner requirements
• Collecting and remitting any applicable taxes
• Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage
• Complying with local noise ordinances and occupancy limits

8. Intellectual Property

You represent that you have the right to broadcast or display sporting events at your venue and that your event does not violate any broadcast licensing agreements.

9. Prohibited Activities

• Hosting events involving illegal activities
• Serving alcohol to minors
• Exceeding the stated capacity
• Misrepresenting the event
• Collecting payments outside MySportify
• Sharing Guest personal information with third parties

10. Accountability

MySportify tracks Host performance based on response rate, cancellation rate, Guest reviews, and compliance with these Standards. Hosts who consistently fall below standards may receive warnings or be removed from the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

MySportify is a marketplace, not a party to the agreement between you and your Guests. You acknowledge that MySportify is not liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or disputes arising from your events. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MySportify from any claims arising from your events.
